KSAC boasts the most sustainable and legendary membership in West Rand’s black communities. Our club since its establishment in 1990 has attracted young and old people into athletics and has groomed many top athletes who have now left the club. We have athletes as young as five years of age and others who are beyond their graceful 80s. Compared to other sports clubs in general, we have the most sustainable existence despite the challenges that we so courageously face. Our total number of affiliated members in the development, other member athletes and those who support the club amounts to more than 150.
Our development has the most active and young athletes who the club nurtures to become top professionals and to represent the country internationally. In official athletic terms these are the Juniors and Seniors who are about 50 and are the most successful as they represent us in international championships. The Veterans, Masters and Grand Masters are most interested in road running events and are most successful in such events. |
