Achievements for 2006

 

- 15 of our athletes qualified in a highly competitive competition for the provincial team under Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) that was going to compete at the South African Cross Country Championships that were held at Mpumalanga. At the South African Cross Country Championships our qualified representatives returned with 2 medals and one promised to be part of the South African Team that was going to represent South Africa at the World Championships in 2007.

 - 12 of our athletes qualified to represent District D2 at yet another highly competitive competition at the Gauteng Schools Championships where two of them went on to represent Gauteng as a Province in Limpopo; they returned with medals.

 

Achievements for 2007

 

- 6 athletes from Kagiso Striders A/C qualified to represent Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) at Pretoria for the Athletics South Africa’s (ASA) National Track and Field Championships.

- 15 athletes qualified to represent District D2 at Germiston for the Gauteng Track and Field Championships where they were able to return with 4 medals. 5 of them qualified to represent Gauteng at East London and Pretoria for the National Track and Field Championships where they were able to return with 3 medals; one of our athletes qualified to represent South Africa in Botswana and France.

- 21 athletes qualified to represent CGA in Mpumalanga for South African Cross Country Championships and returned with 5 medals.

- 18 athletes qualified to represent District 2 at the Gauteng Schools Championships for Cross Country.

 

Achievements for 2008

 

- 13 athletes represented CGA at South African Cross Country Championships in Mpumalanga.

- 8 athletes qualified to represent Gauteng Schools at South African Cross Country Championships in Bloemfontein.

- 4 athletes represented Gauteng Schools at South African Track and Field Championships in North West.

- One of our athletes represented South Africa at the COSSASA championships in Germiston; another of our athletes went to represent Athletics South Africa at the Common Wealth Games in India and yet another one went to represent Athletics South Africa at the Southern Region Games at Zimbabwe. Furthermore on the international level one of our athletes represented Athletics South Africa at the Zone 6 Games held in Porchefstroom.

- 6 athletes represented Central Gauteng Athletics at the Athletics South Africa championships in Pretoria.
